In addition to the digital PTZ function, the camera features two way audio, built-in motion and audio detection, an image alarm buffer and a tamper resistant casing.
The camera is power-over-ethernet (PoE) compliant to IEEE802.3af and allows simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 streaming for optimum image quality and bandwidth use. The digital PTZ allows discreet monitoring as there are no moving parts and it cannot be detected what the camera is looking at or zooming into.
The Axis 212 network camera can be wall mounted only and provides up to 30 frames per second in VGA resolution (640x480).
